Crismon was called as president of the Mount Hood Oregon Stake on February 25, 2012 and was sustained with his counselors, Dennis Baird and Charles Allen, in stake conference on Feb 26.
Elder Shane Bowen, of the First Quorum of the Seventy, in the training with the new stake presidency, asked Crismon to keep a record of spiritual experiences he was having as president of the stake.

Crismon set Kevin Milburn apart as a missionary going to the
Albuquerque, New Mexico Mission. It was Mother’s Day. Crismon felt strongly
that Mother’s Day should be free of all the flowers, gifts, food etc. that was
so often a part of Mother’s Day in our church meetings. A letter was sent out
and read ahead of time. It was nice to keep our worship on that day on our
Savior

Elder Rawlings (Centerville, UT) and Elder Richardson (Price, UT) had
lunch with us and challenged us to find someone in the next few weeks to share
the gospel with. Crismon went on visits with the Sandy River Ward Bishop in
preparation for Ward Conf. They visited Sherry Beck’s daughter, Sarah, who is
coming back into the church.

Attended the Friday Forum at the Institute Building. Elysee
Turney was honored for graduating from Institute with 21 credits. She will
return to California in look for work. She was a faithful young women who
served well in the ward. She did her Master’s work in service to
underprivileged in the world. Elysee was outstanding for being in the church
just 4 years.
